Michael: Hi, there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a quick look at this ratcheting SAE wrench set. This is going to give us seven of these drop-forged chrome vanadium wrenches. These are sized from 3/8, 7/16, 1/2 inch, 9/16, 5/8, 11/16, and 3/4 inch wrenches. These do have a nice mirror polish finish so they are going to look really nice for you because they do have that chrome vanadium construction.
They are going to be very durable and long lasting. You can see these do have a nice low profile head for access into tight spaces. Our flex head is going to allow us to pivot 180 degrees so if we do have to work at an angle, we can get that going. And this is ratcheting, obviously, so it's going to be much easier to just get it on our bolthead once and then ratchet versus trying to use the other end and spin, re-engage like so. This does have 72 gear teeth for five degree sweep so it should do a good job for you.
And if you do need to reverse direction, you just flip the wrench over and it will loosen. This does include a nice storage rack, as you can see here, so you can keep everything organized and find the right tool that you need when you need it. Overall, I really like this design. I've wanted ratcheting wrenches for a while now, just for the space saving. And as I said, I'm making it much easier to stay on the bolthead rather than having to take it off and find it over and over again, especially if you're working under a car or something like that. Sometimes you have very limited room, so it's nice to have something like that. Now I will say that with these your overall construction, it's going to hold up really well for you.
You're probably not going to snap this if you're just doing normal home repairs and that sort of thing. The area that I would be most concerned about is your ratcheting function there. Sometimes those can go out after a while. So this set is probably more for your at-home use, people that are just going to use it from time to time, not like a professional garage or something like that. This is reasonably priced so it should do a good job of getting you tools to use around the house but if you are wanting to use them every day, really push them to their limits, you'll probably want to get a little bit better quality. These are going to be more for your home use and those sorts of things.
So I think you'll be very happy with them if you are planning on just using them around the house like I do, but overall good quality, should hold up well for you and get the job done, make things a lot easier for you.So that's going to complete our look for today. Again, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Thanks for watching.
